A close match for most of the day, the Robins booted five goals to the Giants two in the final quarter to win 14.16 (100) to 10.6 (66).
Travis Davies was one of the best for the Robins and kicked two important back-to-back majors in the final term. Woody French did his best for the Giants and Kurt Foss had an impact.
Latrobe were simply on another level against East Devonport on Saturday.
The Demons kicked away in the second half to win 26.11 (167) to the Swans 6.7 (43). Chris Boon was on fire for the home side with five goals while Callum McCauliffe booted four from the wing. Gavin Woodcock was one of the best in the middle with three goals while Shaun McCrossen and Michael Flint continued their good form as well.
Jack Triffett was lively for the Swans and booted two goals while Bradley French was strong in defence who were under siege all day.
Penguin kicked away from a gallant Devonport side to win 22.11 (143) to 9.6 (60).
Chris McDonald stepped up again for the Two Blues and booted nine goals while Mathew Smith booted four goals as well.
Will Huxtable, Joeli Navatu and Kayden Deverell impressed for the Magpies.
In the final game of the NWFL roster, Wynyard were far too strong at home for Burnie, winning 29.22 (196) to 9.6 (60). Brady Allen had six goals for the Cats while Jacob Hamill booted five. Ben Dawson, James Allen and Chris Bryan also had four each.
