After spending time with his other alternative rock outfit Circa Survive, Saosin are back with their third studio album Along the Shadow.

It has been six years since we have heard from these guys, but it feels as though they have never left – his voice still in fine form, proving that males can hit those high notes too.

They still hold their distinct sound, although it’s nothing new for these guys the nostalgia is well and truly real.

Illusion and Control, has a combination of different riffs which work together so well.

Heavier song Racing Toward A Red Light provides a glimmer of change in the album, but overall if you listened to this band back then, you will definitely recognise them now.
