Gamers and reviewers alike have been espousing their deep love and affection for this grand finale in the Nathan Drake series.
So the big question is (for those who haven’t played it) – does Uncharted 4 live up to all the hype and expectation? Is it really a 10/10 game?
Well, compared with many titles, it would be worthy of a 100 per cent rating, yes. But is it perfect in every way? No, of course not. But, it’s horribly close.
There are just so many wonderful aspects to Uncharted 4 - the visuals, the character graphics, the storyline, the vocal acting, the characters themselves, the action, the gameplay. It’s as close to gaming perfection as we may ever see.
This third-person action adventure title picks up the story of adventurer Nathan Drake living the quiet life with his wife, journalist Elena Fisher.
But the return of Nathan’s long-lost brother Sam (who was believed dead for the past 15 years) heralds the start of one last adventure for Nathan as the pair set off in pursuit of the long-lost treasure of pirate Henry Avery. For the Drake brothers, it was their Moby Dick, their Holy Grail.
Over the course of the next 15 hours, you will experience the epitome of adventure gaming as Nathan jumps, climbs, fights, shoots and sneaks his way through the best game of its kind.
The vocal acting is s exquisite and makes you truly believe that the characters are alive - real people with real personalities - not just a figment of some game developer's imagination. They have soul.
There are thrilling adventures around every turn whether you’re running, climbing, driving a jeep or a boat or sneaking past enemies.
It’s true gaming perfection – or should we say, as close as you will probably get to it in this lifetime.
