Cavaliers will be without Deanna Wadley this weekend due to work commitments and are likely to promote former Devon and current Cavaliers 19-and-under player Hannah Lee. Coach Dannie Carstens will be looking to her mid-court attacking combinations of Shelby Miller, Lydia Coote, Cath van Keulen and Kate Gibson to step up.

“It will be very important to value the ball, particularly when we gain possession, and give our shooters as many opportunities as possible to score. We certainly have improved, it is now about creating more opportunities for each other in both attack and defence.”

Cavaliers new-look line up is relatively young however Carstens is happy with how her team is coming together early in the season.
