What’s On In is a new mobile app which allows users to find out about events around Tasmania.
Event organiser Andrew Palmer said the new app would increase awareness of this year’s What’s On In Tasmanian Open DanceSport Championship.
“We will have some exciting interactions with the patrons of the What’s On In Tasmanian Open DanceSport Championship,” he said.
Now in its sixth year in Launceston, Mr Palmer said the Tasmanian Open DanceSport Championship attracts couples from across Australia and the world.
“It’s very exciting for Tasmania this year, we have nine-time world champion Bryan Watson from the United Kingdom joining us,” he said.
What’s On In general manager Darren Alexander said the mobile app would help tourists, interstate guests and locals find out about the competition.
The event is held in August each year at the Silverdome.
