Heavy rainfall is set to continue and could bring some minor flooding, according to alerts from the Bureau of Meteorology.
On Monday morning, the bureau released a “heads up” for minor flooding for all Northern river basins, plus the Huon catchment.
Parts of the North and West of the state received between 30 and 100 millimetres of rain over the past three day, while most locations experienced between 10 and 30 millimetres in total.
In the north, the bureau advised that river rises were likely on Monday, continuing into Tuesday.
Low-lying areas and small creeks could experience some flash flooding if heavy rainfalls continue.
Minor flooding, if any, would occur later in the week.
Up to 50 millimetres of rain is predicted for parts of the North – including Launceston – on Tuesday.
