An inaugural youth festival in Beaconsfield drew a crowd of about 600 in April. The Beaconsfield Youth and Community festival, held at the RSL Park, was full of free activities for young people to get involved in. These included the Red Herring Skate Comp, live performances from young people from across the Tamar, and more than 80 art displays from the Hope Art competition.
