“There’s been reasonably solid rainfall totals across Launceston and the North,” duty forecaster Simon McCulloch said.
“There were big gaps in between.”
Mr McCulloch said Launceston experienced 15mm of rain on Sunday.
He said about three to six millimetres of rain were likely for Launceston on Monday.
“Showers are more likely in the afternoon and evening if the next front moves through and reasonably windy again.”
“At this stage Tuesday may well be the wettest day for Launceston and follow up showers on Wednesday and Thursday as well.”
“The winds were quite strong but no real damage anywhere in the North.”
