The red and black faithful sing for many people but they sing quite a lot and quite loudly for Mark Bridge, the striker who has been there from day one, who scored their first goal, who has been a part of Western Sydney long before the Wanderers were even conceived.
They will sing for him on Sunday when the Wanderers meet Adelaide United at Adelaide Oval in the A-League grand final.
And they will probably sing louder after reading the next few lines because Bridge has given the strongest indication yet that this could be his final match for the Wanderers.
Having attracted interest from wealthy Asian clubs during the January transfer period, he admits it will be difficult to ignore the offers if they come again in the off-season.
"Financially, Australia can't compete with Asia," Bridge, 30, says. "Now that I am coming to the tail-end of my career, of course if something came up where I could put my family in a good financial position, I would consider all the options. I'm still on contract with the Wanderers for another year but I'm sure if something comes up in the [transfer] windows, the club would be willing to talk. They're good like that: they're very loyal to their players. You've seen it with Tomi [Juric] and Spira [Matthew Spiranovic]."
There's an unspoken law at the Wanderers: a player can only move clubs at the end of the season, not during it. That window opens on Monday.
Would a breakthrough grand final victory – having played in the Wanderers' two previous defeats in the decider – make any potential decision to leave any easier for Bridge?
"It's a tough one," he says. "Obviously, if I could financially set myself up in Australia, I would never consider leaving. But football, the way it is with places like China, Korea and even Thailand throwing around big money at Australian players – who are hot property at the moment – it makes it difficult to ignore. When you hear the figures being thrown about, with transfer records being broken, with the salaries they are getting being tax free … it is crazy money."
Tomorrow can wait a little longer, of course.
In the meantime, there's the not-so-minor matter of trying to win the club's first grand final in just their fourth year of existence.
If you had told Bridge on a cold July night in 2012 about the journey he and the fledgling club were about to embark on, he'd have surely laughed at you.
That midweek trial match against Nepean FC was the Wanderers' first and has become the stuff of A-League legend but it never gets old.
"The pitch was terrible, it was just a friendly and we had five players signed," says Bridge. "But there were 4000 fans there."
Cut to a sunny Thursday afternoon at Pirtek Stadium as the Wanderers players jump through the media hoops for one last time.
As Bridge made his way to the end of the ground for a photo shoot, a sole Wanderers fan mysteriously appeared on the first level of the Mick Cronin Stand and started chanting and singing while holding a scarf above his head.
Now, that's devotion to your team – even if it's a little weird.

Bridge never forgets who the Wanderers faithful are singing for.
He remembers the huge parade through the streets of Parramatta after the side played in the grand final in its debut season.
He also recalls seeing footage of a packed Pirtek Stadium after the Wanderers played – and won – the Asian Champions League final in Saudi Arabia. There were thousands watching on the stadium's big screens – at 2am.
"That's the type of thing you see when there's a World Cup on," says Bridge.
After the dramatic win over Brisbane in last Sunday's epic semi-final at Pirtek, German star Thomas Broich shook Bridge's hand.
"It has to be an honour for you guys to play in front of this every week," he told him. "It's like the big games in Europe."
This from a guy who has played in the big games in Europe.
"I can't figure it out either," says Bridge when asked why the Wanderers have engendered so much support. "Maybe it just shows you how long we've been crying out for a team here."
Bridge understands this more than most.
Blacktown-born, St Clair-raised and having played his junior and senior football with Parramatta, he's an unabashed "westie", bless him.
Growing up, his mum was a childcare worker, his dad is a scaffolder. He supported the Penrith Panthers and wanted to play rugby league.
"But my mum wouldn't let me," Bridge says. "I got put into soccer when I was five and I've been playing it ever since."
When the A-League was formed, he signed with Newcastle. Then he came to Sydney FC, where he won a title but never felt like he was representing his people.
The M4 in peak hour will do that.
"[Sydney FC] didn't feel like a home club – I still had to drive an hour to get to training," Bridge smiles. "The hardest thing being from the west was that there wasn't a team here so, being a Western Sydney boy, the success we've achieved does mean a lot. Not only do you have family and friends here, but people you haven't seen your whole life. To be able to do it in front of people you have known your whole life, and see the passion on their face when you do achieve it, is something special."
The best part of what Bridge has achieved at the Wanderers is that he was so close to turning his back on all of it.
Late in the 2011-12 season, struggling with foot and back injuries and lacking motivation, he edged closer and closer to premature retirement. Many would be surprised how often professional athletes consider such drastic action.
"I just thought, 'Was it worth it? Is it worth playing on if this is what it's going to be like?' " he says. "[Retirement] definitely played on my mind. You talk to any player who has a lot of injuries: it mentally takes its toll. It's very hard when you are by yourself for long periods of time in rehab, when you don't feel like you're part of the team."

Instead, he came to the Wanderers. And he found Tony Popovic.
Some players might fear Popovic, but Bridge has flourished underneath him. The coach's infatuation with the fitness of his players is legendary. When the semi against the Roar went to extra time, the Wanderers were always predicted to last the distance.
"Coming here, Poppa taught us how to take care of our bodies better," Bridge says. "I went on a drinking ban in season one. Diet, how much water to drink … all of it plays a massive part. My injuries have been much less here."
This season, Popovic has introduced his players to new torture tests.
"With GPS monitoring, there is nowhere to hide," says Bridge. "We do these shuttle sprints in a short amount of time. It doesn't seem like much when you say it. But when you do it, and your lungs are burning after, that's when you know it hurts."
He says nobody has vomited from it.
"But one player coughed up blood."
In those early days at the Wanderers, there was another unwritten rule: players could never be seen with their hands on their hips.
"Can't do it when you're tired," says Bridge. "It shows weakness. That's something that's been instilled here from day one. I think you'll still see it in games, when players get tired the natural instinct is to put their hands on their hips. Then straight away they will put their hands down. They might be too scared."
Should this grand final be Bridge's last match for the Wanderers, whoever gets him next will get some Popovic, too.
"Without Poppa," says Bridge, "none of this happens."
