The Hobart teenager was named in the women’s squad to be coached by Shannon Seebohm for the upcoming world championships in Zaragoza, Spain.

The men’s squad contains no Tasmanians but will have former Tasmanian Institute of Sport coach Justin Schueller on the coaching staff.

Both squads are dominated by Victoria and NSW players.

Selected athletes will head into camps at the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence after which 12 will be selected in the final teams to head to China on a tour, and then to Spain in June.
