Brown, 32, played 205 AFL matches and kicked 109 goals in a career that included the Hawks’ 2008 premiership victory over Geelong.
Redlegs treasurer Nicole Jones said Saturday, June 4 would be a big day for the club.
“Our senior bench coach Juan Salter used to be a talent scout for Richmond and it was his idea to do something different to get plenty of people and past players around the club,” she said.
“It is the first time we have got a former AFL player down to play with us and the guys are really excited as it is not every day they get to play with someone like that.
“Our sponsors day will be held on the day as well.”
The now part-time political commentator will be the fourth former top-flight player to grace the NTFA this season, following on from Brendan Fevola’s stint with Perth and Brad Sewell and Adam Schneider’s appearance for Scottsdale.
Brown will run a free football clinic pre-game, play and speak at a sportsmans night afterwards.
Pre-event tickets cost $40 per-person and include a two-course meal.
