St Helens Neighbourhood House was awarded the grant last week, which will be spent on an enclosed walkway between the Op Shop and the Shed Shop and a number of giant games including chess, snakes and ladders, and a cat and mouse game.
House manager Trish O'Duffy said the grant would greatly benefit the organisation.
“The community will be absolutely delighted, the house is community driven and we rely on our volunteers to provide the services we offer," Ms O'Duffy said.
“The games will be available to hire, and we’ll use them at our family fun days and various events.
“The extension to the Op Shop will be brilliant as we often have people waiting outside as it can get very busy.”
