More than 70 Tasmanians were joined at the meeting two ANZ representatives, state parliamentary secretary for small business Guy Barnett, Apsley MLC Tania Rattray and Bass Greens MHA Andrea Dawkins.
Bicheno Newsagency owner Michael Symons applauded those present for making a strong case for retaining the ANZ services while remaining at all times respectful to the ANZ staff.
“(The ANZ representatives) were also presented with a list of 11 questions that they agreed to take away and provide answers to,” Mr Symons said.
