Cressy's Tasmanian Quality Meats expects to employ at least 18 new full-time staff over the next two years after receiving a $140,000 state government grant to introduce a new tripe processing line.

The new addition will allow Tasmanian Quality Meats to begin collecting and processing tripe for export to Tier 2 markets.
The award-winning company secured the funding under the second round of the Advanced Manufacturing Transition Fund.
Tasmanian Quality Meats currently employs 85 full-time workers.
