The Enstone Park estate covers 2226 hectares and 15 titles.
Looking across to the coastal town of Falmouth, Enstone Park is one of Tasmania’s most prolific properties.
A Georgian-style double-storey homestead built circa 1867 overlooks scenic farmland.
Enstone Park includes a bluegum plantation of about 400 hectares.
The property is home to ewes and cattle and grows potatoes, lucerne and poppies.
Enstone Park is owned by Stephen and Carol Woods.
Mr Woods owned and founded the Liquorland bottle shop chain, which he sold to Coles Myer in 1982.
He was also a director at Coles.
Mr Woods said he and his wife would be moving to Hobart to retire near their family.
Mr Woods said they had lived at Enstone Park for 14 years.
At the homestead, they have four bedrooms and two offices, which could be converted.
‘‘[Enstone Park] is in a little area surrounded by hills, it’s just a very special place to live,’’ Mr Woods said.
Landmark Harcourts agent Michael Warren, who is handling the sale, said Enstone Park would be a one-of-a-kind purchase.
‘‘It’s unusual to get a property of this scale and this size on the coastline of Tasmania,’’ Mr Warren said.
‘‘It’s got a historic side to it ... and we also think it was one of the first original dairy farms in Tasmania when it was first settled,’’ he said.
The property is for sale by expressions of interest closing on April 22.
