The Directions Theatre production, directed by Ellen Roe, will be performed at Delamere Vineyards.
Brought to life by a cast of talented Tasmanians, the plot of Much Ado About Nothing revolves around two couples dealing with romance's trials and tribulations.
Much Ado About Nothing producer Ros Peck said Directions Theatre strived to make Shakespeare's work accessible to a modern audience.
"We work hard at getting the actors to be able to bring the original text to the audience in a way that's easy to understand," Peck said.
Delamere Vineyards cellar door sales manager Alice Cooksley said the vineyard would provide the perfect backdrop.
"Delamere's got beautiful gardens here which is just the perfect setting, especially for a romantic comedy - it's just a great place to stage a theatrical event," Ms Cooksley said.
Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic, but are asked not to bring their own alcohol.
