Batting first, Hadspen found itself staring down the barrel of a two-figure total after some attacking bowling from Richard Austin (3-32) and Tigers captain Matty Wells (2-32).
With the Chieftains looking worried at 7-86, a 90-run eighth wicket partnership from Clinton Moore (58) and Thomas Walker (34) carried the side to an imposing 9-205.
Lower-order partnerships continued to be the flavour of the day, with Tigers leaving it until the last minute to launch an attack at the Hadspen total.
After three-wicket hauls to Zak Barber and Dean Slater left Tigers looking completely out of the game at 9-103, a 75-run tenth-wicket partnership between Jason Ellis (47) and Kurt Wells (17 not out) appeared to have Tigers in with an outside chance of chasing the total.
The miracle was not to be however, with Ellis dismissed just three runs short of a half-century in a nonetheless entertaining knock.
Liam Reynolds and Matt Green finished with two wickets apiece while Tigers first-drop batsman Zac Barwick made 37 at the the top of the order.
TREVALLYN recorded a six-wicket win over Perth thanks to a middle-order stand between Andrew Fitz and Wayne Ford.
After being sent in to the field at Trevallyn Oval, the homeside made some early inroads into the Perth batting lineup, taking the first four wickets for 38 runs.
A well-compiled 50 from No.6 Jay Lockhart and some handy scores from Ethan Goldfinch (20) and Nick Price (15) ticked the total up to a competitive 142, with Jye Balym the pick of the bowlers for Trevallyn with 3-21.
A solid bowling effort from Nick Price (2-16) then saw Trevallyn under the pump at 4-34 after seven overs, with its top four batsman back in the shed.
Just as Perth appeared to be in with a sniff, Fitz and Ford combined an unbeaten stand of 109 to see their side to a comfortable win in the 27th over.
LONGFORD completed a comfortable nine-wicket win against Diggers at home.
The Diggers innings made a bright start, with opening pair Craig Wegman (24) and Adam Davie (34) putting on a stand of 36.
From then on, Longford’s bowling attack ripped through the batting lineup to bowl the visitors out for 98.
Brett Martin and Trent Spencer picked up 4-13 and 4-31 respectively, while Rob Moore took 2-18.
In reply, Longford lost the wicket of Shannon Rumbel early but never looked in doubt, reaching the total in the 16th over with Josh Adams (49) and Anthony Taylor (31) both unbeaten.
