The producers, based at Richmond, won Best Overall Stall and Best Other Beverage in Festivale’s 28th year.
Founder and co-owner Mark Robertson said it was the third time Pippin Ciders had attended Festivale, but the first in conjunction with Lamb Baa.
‘‘The whole idea of the stall is to showcase what we do in the Coal River Valley,’’ Mr Robertson said of the stall, run by two husband-and-wife teams.
‘‘We’ve decided to use as much produce as we can from [Andrew and Kate Beven’s Cranston] site as possible.’’
Mr Robertson said popular choices for Festivale goers were the classic Lost Pippin apple cider and cider-braised lamb shoulder.
The award judges included Ling Qian, from the Australian Good Food and Travel Guide, chef and author Greg Malouf, Tourism Northern Tasmania chief executive officer Chris Griffin and Bass Liberal MHA Sarah Courtney.
