The Launceston centre will host a quiz night at Riverside Golf Club on Valentine’s Day eve to raise money for animals in need of some love.
There will be brain-busting trivia, a silent auction and a raffle.
RSPCA Launceston manager Lorraine Hamilton said the centre took in 187 animals in need of a forever home in January.
Seven-month-old Domino was born at the RSPCA and is looking for someone to settle down with.
Ms Hamilton said it was gratifying uniting dogs such as Domino with an owner who would love them unconditionally. ‘‘That’s what makes it all worth it, being able to get them the ‘pawfect’ match,’’ she said.
Quiz nights raise vital funds for the RSPCA to continue its important work.
‘‘We rely on the support of our community for us to be able to run our shelters,’’ Ms Hamilton said.
