I DON'T think I have ever heard of a human more arrogant than Daryush Valizadeh.

The leader of the Return of Kings misogynist group, otherwise known as Roosh V, is attempting to reach Australian shores, to insult us with his infuriating ideals.
Valizadeh had organised a worldwide meeting for all members of the group to come together on Saturday, a time for all men in the group to celebrate their ideas.
Ironically, the event was cancelled just days after it was organised because the group could "no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men".
Valizadeh's views are based on what he calls "neo-masculinity", a belief that aims to "aid men living in westernised nations that lack qualities such as classical virtue, masculinity in males, femininity in females, and objectivity", according to a post on his website.
He goes on to say that "a woman's value significantly depends on her fertility and beauty".
His list of top 50 articles of all time includes titles such as Men Are Nothing More Than Clowns To The Modern Woman, Women Must Have Their Behavior And Decisions Controlled By Men, and 8 Things American Women Must Do To Make Themselves More Attractive For Men.
Scrolling through his website, it is easy to think that this must be a joke.
It's not.
His view is so voyeuristic and misogynistic that surely no one actually listens to this out-of-touch human being.
"Increasing choice and reducing traditional gender roles are two factors that are rapidly destroying women," he said in one article.
"The reason that women had their behavior limited was for the simple reason that they are significantly less rational than men.
"Women are directly fitted for acting as the nurses and teachers of our early childhood by the fact that they are themselves childish, frivolous and short-sighted."
Surely this cannot be serious.
While the thoughts of this one man in no way reflect the thoughts of the average male and his extreme views are obviously shocking to the vast majority of our community, male or female, the nation's response has at least been heartening.
Immigration Minister Peter Dutton announced this week that Valizadeh would have a hard time getting into Australia, despite Valizadeh's claims that he would "hire a private yacht to sneak into the country" if he had to.
A petition to stop Valizadeh getting into the country reached almost 100,000 signatures in just two days.
The nation came together the prove their defiance against this man.
Australia is fighting its own battle against domestic violence.
We do not need this cult-like figure attempting to promote the exact thing we are working to destroy.
So if one positive thing can come out of this horrendous man, it is that Australia will not stand for his insanity.
We will not be taken in by his unbelievable, barbaric and false beliefs.
I applaud the decisions of Mr Dutton and I applaud the woman that began the petition because we cannot just stand in the shadows and quietly disagree with Valizadeh.
Just remember Australia, we are better, we are braver and we are infinitely more logical than this man and his 15th century ideals.
