Bourchier gained a psychological advantage over his next opponent with a victory in the semi-finals of the doubles.
Along with Daniel Nolan, the top-seeded pairing defeated third seeds Kelly and Blazo Djurovic 6-4, 6-2 to set up Friday’s 12.30pm final with Lawrence Bataljin and Mario Matejcek after the fourth seeds won an epic semi-final 7-6, 6-3, 10-7 against second-seeded Aaron Addison and Fancutt.
The top two seeds will also meet in the women’s final after Victorian Olivia Rogowska defeated Sasha Alexander 6-2, 6-1 and Slovakian Zuzana Zlochova saw off third-seed Danielle Mcintyre 6-3, 6-3.
