Sarah Paino was killed in a car crash while she was 32 weeks pregnant. Her unborn son survived.
Partner Daniel Stirling on Monday released a statement through the state government, thanking the community and the staff at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Mr Stirling said his son, Caleb, remains in a stable condition.
"On behalf of Sarah, myself and our family, I want to thank the community for their overwhelming generosity and support," the statement reads.
"Every donation has reminded us that we are not alone in our grief and contributed towards securing a future for both of our sons. Words cannot express how much this means to us.
"I’d also like to thank the staff at the Royal Hobart Hospital, whose compassion and professionalism has been tremendous.
"This is a time of conflicting emotions for us as we grieve the loss of Sarah, whilst also welcoming baby Caleb to our family.
"We thank you for respecting our privacy during this challenging time and allowing us the space to grieve, as well as provide as much support as possible to our children.
"Caleb remains in a stable condition."
A 15-year-old youth has been charged with manslaughter over the incident.
Tasmania Police also on Monday said investigations were continuing into the three passengers of the vehicle the 15-year-old was driving.
They will be charged with motor vehicle stealing, and police are seeking advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to other relevant charges.
