George Town Community Coastal Management Group chair Ian Sauer said the NRM was also hosting a barbecue to create a community discussion on February 7 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm at the Lulworth Community Shed.
Anyone from the Tamar Valley coastal areas is welcome, and can contact Tamar NRM to RSVP.
Mr Sauer said resident's comments would be used to devise a new five-year rolling coastal action plan for the area.
The community plan was the first of its kind to be created in Tasmania when it was published in 2005.
"It's time to turn it upside down and shake all the cobwebs out and see what we want to do," Mr Sauer said, "though things haven't changed that greatly".
Issues including weeds, ferals cats, rabbits, fire management, waste and walking tracks still need to be discussed and addressed.
"Learning about the coastal environment, to the communities, is really important," he said.
"The communities out there really want to do the best for the community and the way to be able to live and work and recreate in these areas, but they also want to make sure the natural beauty and biodiversity is maintained."
He said Tamar NRM planned to bring guest speakers who could talk about relevant issues to the coastal communities.
Mr Sauer said the plan in 2005 was a useful way to create a cohesive coastal strategy for coastal towns in the Tamar Valley region.
The NRM are welcoming residents and visitors of Hillwood, Low Head, Bellbouy Beach, Beechford, Lulworth, Tam O'Shanter, Weymouth and Bellingham to contact them by January 22 with plan comments.
