The Chieftains won the toss and sent the visitors in to bat, a decision that paid off as they knocked the Trevallyn batting order over for 98 off 30.5 overs.

After losing opener Nathan Balym second ball for a duck, Trevallyn lost wickets regularly slumping to 6-40 and never recovered.

Caleb Lawson top scored with 18 but it was a sorry scorecard with only four batsmen just making double figures.

The Hadspen attack hunted as a pack with Tom Walker taking 3-20, Liam Reynolds 2-24, Jason Tarrant 2-23 and Scott Driessen 2-6 off his four overs.

Hadspen then knocked off the required runs finishing at 2-100, off 22 overs.

Opener Damien Woods continued his good form top scoring with 56 not out, with eight fours and a six, and Reynolds was 21 not out.

Matty Cocker claimed the only Hadspen wicket, finishing with figures of 1-11 off five overs.

LONGFORD completed their own demolition job on Legana recording an eight-wicket victory at Longford.

The home side sent the Durhams in and skittled them for 70 in 26.4 overs.

Daniel Williams top scored for Legana opening with 19 and Luke Payne made 13 at No.9.

Trent Spencer picked up 3-14 off seven overs and Jessie Arnol 3-16 off eight overs, with Brett Martin and Aiden Hume taking two wickets each.

Longford chased down the runs for the loss of two wickets off 16.2 overs, with opener Josh Adams top scoring with 43 not out and Haydn Scott 16 not out.

BEAUTY POINT got back on the winner’s list with a five-wicket victory over the Tigers Cricket Club at Beauty Point.

The Tigers won the toss and batted making 185 off 37.5 overs.

Shane Evans top scored with 51 and Ali Worth made 30.

Brennan Cresswell was the most successful bowler for the Point taking 3-37 off eight overs and Jason Hinds and Mathew Varga took two each.

Beauty Point made 5-186 in reply off 32.4 overs with Jason Savage returning to form with a great knock of 98 which included nine fours and four sixes, but just missing out on a century.

Kurt Wells took 2-49 and Matthew Wells 2-30 for the Tigers.

DIGGERS defeated Perth by five wickets in their game at Hagley.

Perth made 182 after winning the toss and batting first with openers Matthew Lawrence (20) and Jonty Richardson (33) making runs along with Ethan Goldfinch (24).

Adam Henderson was the best of the Diggers’ bowlers taking 4-30.

Diggers chased down the runs for the loss of five wickets off 28.2 overs finishing at 5-184, with Paul Fruin top scoring with 46 and Scott Davie making 36 not out.
