THOUSANDS of people lined the streets of Launceston's central business district on Saturday morning from the city's annual APEX Launceston Christmas Parade.

The Disney themed parade featured 35 floats, with crowds getting to high-five Cinderella, wave at Frozen character Elsa and spot the One Hundred and One Dalmatians Ford.
Mrs Claus and Santa wrapped up the parade.
Many streets in the CBD were closed off for the parade which began at 11am.
The parade started at the Esplanade, travelled up St John Street, along Elizabeth Street, down Charles Street and Paterson Street before returning to the Esplanade.
Streets re-opened at 1pm.
