WHAT: APEX Launceston Christmas Parade.

LAUNCESTON will turn on the Christmas spirit on Saturday at the annual APEX Launceston Christmas Parade.
More than 10,000 spectators are expected to watch the parade, with this year’s theme promising a Disney Christmas.
Parade-goers can expect to see Frozen, Toy Story and Cinderella floats, and many more.
The parade will start from the Esplanade, travel along St John Street, turn right into Elizabeth Street, right into Charles Street, right into Patterson Street and left back into St John Street, before returning to the marshalling area.
These streets will be closed from 10am to 1pm, causing disruptions to CBD Metro services.
Customers travelling into the city should alight at Frederick Street, outside Princes Square, as the following bus stops will be closed from 10am to 1pm:
●Launceston City Interchange.
●St John Street Stop 1 (William Street).
●William Street Stop 2.
●59 Paterson Street (Charles Street).
●144 Brisbane Street (Charles Street).
●60-64 Elizabeth Street (Princes Square).
Customers leaving the city between 10am and 1pm who would usually use the Launceston City Interchange, St John Street Stop 1, and 60-64 Elizabeth Street stop should alight at Frederick Street instead.
Customers leaving from William Street Stop 2 should use Invermay Road Stop 3.
Travellers who would usually travel from the 144 Brisbane Street (Charles Street) stop should leave from Brisbane Streeet outside City Park.
