The musical, an adaptation of Cinderella, is a highly interactive experience that the whole family will love.
It’s also the last chance to experience a show in the Princess Theatre’s current configuration, with a refurbishment about to begin.
The cast of The Glass Slipper will lead the Disney-themed Christmas Parade before performing a matinee on Saturday.
Kim Roe said the production would be a nostalgic occasion.
‘‘We are very honoured to be bringing the curtain down on the theatre’s present layout, although there will be a touch of sadness – but then again we are excited about what it will look like in 12 months’ time,’’ Roe said.
She said the annual pantomime was the highlight of the year for cast members, with The Glass Slipper featuring a cast of 80 passionate performers.
‘‘We want people to come to the Christmas parade dressed up in their favourite Disney character, watch the parade, stay on in town and have lunch and then come along for a extra Christmas treat,’’ Roe said.
