The amateur theatre company has given producers, directors, actors, chorus line and costume design personnel, musicians, and sound, lighting, back-stage, set technicians a taste of theatre life.
Former player Jan Foster said that the company was very active in the 1980s and '90s, regularly presenting productions in various halls around Scottsdale and, on several occasions, touring to Bridport and Branxholm.
"The theatre restaurants were very popular, involving community groups catering for a meal around the scenes of plays, skits and chorus lines," she said.
"Presentations such as John Gibb's marvellous rendition of Marcel Marceau, March of the Umpires, choreographed by Chris Bell, The Presents, by Patricia Adams, and The Dance of the Seven Veils, by Susan Mitchell, were immensely enjoyed.
"And who could forget Here We Go Again! our tribute to all our returned soldiers which was presented in the Scottsdale RSL — I had the great privilege of performing in that with my dad, Ray Denney, an ex- serviceman and POW.
"If you have been in an way involved in the shows and would enjoy a get together of members — more information is available from Bronwyn Ranson, Christie Ferguson or myself."
People are asked to bring a plate of finger food and come in fancy dress if they wish. Mrs Foster said that some short scripts, jokes and some songs would be offered as entertainment and former players are urged to attend to have a laugh and enjoy some great memories.
