'TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF
Launceston's answer to the Poison City Weekender is back, with more than 20 bands in five line-ups over three days.
The weekend kicks off on Thursday night with party machines The Bennies spearheading the line-up.
The party backs up on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a Saturday acoustic recovery sessions.
With the exception of a Saturday morning brekky gig, all shows are at Launceston's Club 54. See the full line-up below. Weekend passes are sold out but single-night tickets are available at tilthewheelsfallofffest.oztix.com.au. Limited door sales will also be available.
THURSDAY: The Bennies, High Tension, The Hard Aches, The Saxons.
FRIDAY: DZ Deathrays, Ecca Vandal, Apart From This, Ride the Tiger, Slowly Slowly.
SATURDAY MORNING RECOVERY: Acoustic recovery breakfast at The Gunners Arms with Ben Stewart (Slowly Slowly), Tim Maxwell (Apart From This), and Shane Collins (The Gifthorse). Open from 10.30am, this is a free entry show, guys.
SATURDAY ARVO: Linc Le Fevre, Camp Cope (Georgia Maq's new band), Isaac Bowen, Bec Stevens. From 2pm at Club 54.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Luca Brasi, Bad//Dreems, Speech Patterns, Jen Buxton & The Slaughterhouse Five, The Union Pacific.

WHAT: Something Different Variety Show + Dead Maggies album launch.
WHEN: Saturday from 8pm.
WHERE: Fresh on Charles.

A revamped Something Different Variety Show has found a new home in Fresh on Charles.
The relaunch will star the album launch of folk-punk band The Dead Maggies, supported by Launceston's own Wizard.
Plus the added awe-inspiring acts of Samora Squid, Jenn O Cide (a weight lifter of the different kind), magician Bodane Hatten, and cabaret act VAMP.

Pete Murray follows up his 2014 sold-out tour with a national acoustic tour, featuring stripped-down versions of his classics, such as So Beautiful, Opportunity, and Better Days.
He will be supported by Canadian artist Garrett Kato.
Murray's tour will also hit Hobart's Wrest Point on Saturday night.

Duo DZ Deathrays will be making the drive down the Midland Highway fresh from their Friday night gig in Launceston to line up alongside Verticoli.
