The St Helens leg will be the second of three free concerts in the state which marry a team of performers, 12 caravans and a desire to find a cure for cancer.

Country artist Tania Kernaghan will headline the show at Hillcrest Tourist Park and will be joined by four other performers, including Kylie Minogue impersonator and What's Up Downunder host Angie Hilton.

Last year's event raised more than $25,000 for the Jane McGrath Foundation and, with Tasmania on the tour map for the first time in the concert's history, organisers are hoping for an even bigger response this year.

Hillcrest Tourist Park owner David Dahler said the concert had created a buzz in the community with more than 200 people already signalling their intent to attend.

"I'm getting heaps of questions asked about it," he said.

"You don't have concerts every day - it'd be good if I did."

Mr Dahler said the venue was ready to go and he encouraged patrons to bring along food, drinks and a rug.

"I've got a big paddock down the back of my pub where all the campsites are. It'll go down there. It's a massive big area."

For those wishing to donate, the event will feature a raffle, National Breast Cancer Foundation tin rattlers and What's Up Downunder merchandise.
