Westbury Agricultural Society president Toby Ritter said the society was hoping to achieve similar attendance figures to last year's event which had been "really good" but said they were always looking to improve.
"We try to put on quite a few things for the kiddies and that sort of thing so it keeps them interested as well," Mr Ritter said.
"We're getting it shipshape now. Everything's going according to plan and we're hoping for the weather to be right."
Mr Ritter said the Westbury Show was a particular favourite in the region due to its orientation towards families.
This year's event will include entertainment from sword swallower Samora Squid, a motocross demonstration by Chris Bayles, working dog demonstrations by Matthew Johnson and performances by "The Singing Farmer" David Rockliff, Andrea Badcock and Fairweather Friends.
The kids corner will include a PCYC activity centre, faces by trash, inflation sensation, and pony rides.
There will also be an animal nursery.
"We have people singing and the school involved and all that sort of thing as well," Mr Ritter said.
"We're lucky, we've got a grandstand so people can sit and watch."
Mr Ritter said the society still had plenty of work to do before the event could take place on November 7.
"There will be a lot of mowing going on and washing buildings. Generally tidying up everything and trying to get it spick and span," he said.
The home industries schedule and the horse schedule are now available from www.westburyshow.com.au.
The cattle schedule is to be advised.
