Reunion organising committee member Robyn Hanson said the reunion had been timed to coincide with the annual Ringarooma School and District Show.
"Reunion activities will start from 3pm on the Saturday, so the reunion and show don't detract from each other," she said.
"The memorial hall will be open from 3pm until late and the entertainment will be hosted by newsreader Jo Palmer.
"There'll be a hall of fame, interviews, dancing, food and drink and families are welcome, but RSVPs would be appreciated for catering purposes.
"Sunday's family day will include a bus tour of many of the former school sites, sports activities and a sausage sizzle at the Ringarooma recreation ground.
"We are keen to set up a display of that era and would like to hear from anyone who has old photos, school books and the like from Ringarooma's time as an area school.
"We're especially interested in photos people may have of Homeleigh, the former home arts building that was demolished in the early 1980s."
Ringarooma was made an area school in 1937 and continued until 1973, after which it became the Ringarooma Primary School.
Mrs Hanson said that the region's smaller schools started closing down in 1935 and school-aged children were transported by bus to Ringarooma.
"At one stage, 250 students attended, ranging from kindergarten to grade 10, with some secondary students travelling to Scottsdale," she said.
"With the changing population, Ringarooma became a primary-only school in 1974 and all secondary students travelled to Scottsdale.
