IF North Launceston are to beat Glenorchy in the State League grand final today - these are the men who will play a vital role in achieving it.
The Northern Bombers coaching brains trust work very much as a team each week during the season with head coach Zane Littlejohn relying on and valuing the contribution of his assistants who have been an important part of their success over the past two seasons.
"Our defensive coach is Paul Holmes, midfield is Anthony Loone and forward coach Will Tatchell and then we've got Brett Mansell who is on skills and strategy and communicates with me in the box," Littlejohn said.
"We have Adrian Smith who looks purely at the opposition and then Stephen Crooks who does the board in the box and is chairman of selectors.
"Chris Whitford looks after midfield development and gives them some one on one attention."
Littlejohn said the coaching group were "massively" important and as a panel they had worked hard this season to continue to improve and get better in a combined team effort.
"We have a really strong relationship as a group," he said.
"I have my core ideas and I run that through them and I meet with the individual coaches and they share ideas with me on what they see and how they see the game.
"They give up a lot of time every Sunday and they send me a review of the game and how they see it.
"It creates conversation and then we look back at those reviews, for instance from the last time we played Glenorchy, and sum up some key facts that came out of it and what worked well for our forwards mids and backs and what didn't."
Littlejohn said feedback and interaction between the coaching staff on game day was crucial to success, bouncing ideas off each other and he had confidence in their ability in the box if he was coaching from the boundary line.
"We record the box and look back over it and if I'm not up there I can listen to conversations we had during the game and it's just little strategies like that which help us to improve and teach these guys how to get better."
Littlejohn is out of contract at the end of the season but said he was in discussions with the club about continuing in his role.
"I've always said my ambition is to work in footy full time and that is what I love to do," he said.
"I love to teach and I love to teach football so if I can work in football full-time in a role, that would be an ambition of mine.
"I was lucky enough to spend a week at Port Adelaide this year with Ken Hinkley, Matty Nicks and Michael Voss.
"Those guys were really open and supportive and I still stay in touch with them.
"Adam Sanders as well has been a great support."
