Melbourne Victory have bolstered their squad for the upcoming A-League season with the signing of Socceroo Oliver Bozanic reportedly as their Australian marquee for the next three years.

The 26-year-old midfielder joins the club after two years in Switzerland with Luzern, replacing former captain Mark Milligan, who departed for UAE club Bani Yas during the A-League break.
The move ends months of searching for a new club for the seven-time Australian international who parted ways with Luzern following the expiration of his contract in June.
Equally adapt at playing as a traditional central midfielder or a more advance and attacking player, the signing of Bozanic adds to the Victory's already impressive midfield roster boasting the likes of Carl Valeri, Fahid Ben Khalfallah and Gui Finkler.
"Oliver brings a wealth of experience and quality to the club, having played in England, Switzerland and in the A-League, as well representing Australia at the most recent World Cup in Brazil, so we are looking forward to what he can add to our playing group," Victory coach Kevin Muscat said.
Bozanic is yet to train with his new club but will join them following a short break after thier FFA Cup win over Rockdale City Suns on Tuesday night. "Melbourne Victory is a club that is immensely respected on and off the pitch so when the opportunity came to join the club, I accepted it without hesitation," Bozanic said.
