The 22-year old builder who hails from Sheffield has played about 80 games with the club and is an important cog in their structure with his high-marking and goalkicking ability having notched up 40 goals so far this season.
"The boys are really confident going into the game being on a winning streak having won our last four games including one against these guys," McNab said.
"If we play our best football we definitely have a good chance.
"I haven't played senior finals football yet and there would only be five or six blokes who have so we're all really excited for it."
McNab said he was happy with the way he has been playing this year after overcoming a hamstring injury that hampered him during the season.
He expected to be picked up on Saturday by a defender such as Adam Duggan or Jack Siggins and said the road trip to Bellerive did not faze the playing group.
"We've played there once this year and it was a really high-scoring affair against Clarence and we know a few things we did wrong that day so hopefully we can go into it and be full of confidence to right the mistakes from last time and put our best foot forward and hopefully get the win."
McNab said that their first season under coach Mitch Thorp had been good for the club.
"He has brought a whole new dimension to the group and our structures and everything has gone to the next step up and a lot more professional than what we've been," he said.
"We know we are in with a big chance this week and if we can get over the line there is no limit to how far we can go."
