The school's kindergarten classes made the most of the last day of Book Week for 2015 as each pupil spent the day reading, discussing and dressing up as characters from their favourite books.
Sam Garwood, 5, dug out his best pirate outfit for the occasion to dress up as a character from his favourite book, Where's My Pirate?.
"I like it because it's got a pirate in it who tries to get the other pirates and put them in jail," Sam said.
Gracie Burrage, 4, dressed up as Jesse, one of her favourite characters from Toy Story.
"I like all the people in Toy Story, I like Woody and I like Buzz too," Gracie said.
"I like reading because stories are very, very good and they have very good words."
Norwood Primary School kindergarten teacher Lynette House said that Book Week was an important tool to get children interested in reading from an early age.
"The kids have had a great time dressing up, they were very excited when they came in this morning," Mrs House said.
"It's crucial to develop that interest in books from the beginning, so Book Week is a really good way to get them interested.
"We have a permanent reading corner in the kindergarten with the books changing constantly - we try to get them interested in fiction, non-fiction and cater to their interests."
