The four-piece will this weekend launch their debut EP, the six track Be Rad Not Sad with shows in Hobart on Friday and Launceston on Saturday.
"It is huge for us as we have been working on it for a long time, so it will be good to finally have some music out there," the group's Nick Bennett told X-static.
"It will be great that people will be able to listen to it and see how far we've come.
"It is really raw and heartfelt indie-rock from a bunch of young guys who have been writing songs with some real feeling to them.
"We've been building towards this all year, so it will be great to finally get it out."
In Launceston at Club 54 on Saturday night, Verticoli, Pat Broxton and Thomas Fowkes will be the supporting acts.
"'It's going to be great as we've had a lot support from our friends and family over the past six months, and hopefully we can get some people along who may not have heard us as much to make it as big a show as possible.
"It will be great with those guys, with Pat Braxton and Thomas Fowkes to provide a perfect opening for us, and Verticoli play really punchy, melodic punk rock stuff.
"It will be a really good dynamic for us to close out the night."
The Saxons will also play an all-ages gig on Saturday from 6pm at Off Center.
Bennett said the band hoped to release a full-length album next year.
