Launceston indie-rock act The Saxons will launch their debut EP Be Rad Not Sad in their home city on Saturday, with an all-ages show then an 18-plus gig.
Coming along for the ride in Launceston will be Verticoli, Pat Broxton and Thomas Fowkes.
The Saxons will also play World's End Brewpub in Hobart on Friday.

Launceston indie-roots outfit The Embers will play their final show before embarking on their first interstate tour for their debut album Bright.
Joining them for this show will be Halfway to Forth and Sumner.

Room 122 this weekend will host one of Sydney act SCNDL at its all-night party.
Also on the agenda throughout the evening and early morning will be DJ Joycie, TwiceCooked, DJ Bros, Scavenger and Oscar Phillips.
