Bike crash witnesses sought
POLICE are calling for witnesses to a single-motorcycle crash in the North-East on Thursday.

Police believe that a red BMW motorcycle, which was carrying a pillion passenger, lost control on a straight section of the Tasman Highway near Moorina at 2pm. Both people were taken to the Launceston General Hospital. The rider was transferred to Hobart for further treatment.
They were reported to be in a stable condition.
Anybody who saw the motorcycle at or near Moorina at 2pm is asked to contact Scottsdale police on 131 444.
