International stars and home-grown favourites are among the first line-up for this year's Falls Music and Arts Festival.

Announced on Monday morning, the first line-up for the New Year's Eve event features a few English favourites in Foals, Bloc Party, Django Django, and Disclosure.
There is also a strong Australian contingent with wunderkind Courtney Barnett, Hilltop Hoods, Birds of Tokyo, Rufus, Alpine, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
Australian music icon Paul Kelly will perform a special set of Merri Soul sessions, featuring Clairy Browne, Dan Sultan, Kira Puru, and Vika and Linda Bull.
Tasmania's Marion Bay event will kick off with Boogie Nights on December 29, starring 'Weird Al' Yankovic, and Art vs Science.
The interstate events at Lorne and Byron Bay start on December 28 and 31 respectively.
More acts are expected to be announced in the coming months.
Tickets for the festivals are via ballot allocation, which is open now and closes on August 14.
Some general sales will also be available on August 26.
