Clinton Charles Wilson, 22, of Invermay, faced the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday by videolink.
He has been charged with a raft of dishonesty and driving offences including dangerous driving and multiple counts of burglary and stealing.
Police prosecutors have also filed an application to breach Mr Wilson's suspended sentence.
Defence solicitor Claire Darvell said her client was facing several indictable charges and "new evidence" had come to light since his last court appearance.
Ms Darvell said she hoped Mr Wilson's matters would resolve and stay in the magistrates court.
She requested a further adjournment without plea to allow for further negotiations.
Magistrate Sharon Cure ordered Mr Wilson to reappear on August 18 at 9.15am.
Among other charges, he has been accused of a burglary at Target in Vermont Road, Mowbray, and the stealing of an ATM and cash to an approximate value of $140,000, being the property of Cuscal, on May 30.
On the same day, Mr Wilson has also been charged with the theft of a Mitsubishi Canter truck and tools and equipment worth about $24,546 from Venarchie Contracting in Cavalry Road, Mowbray.
