The 28-year-old - who is fast gaining legendary status around Tasmania - claimed 10 titles from 14 events in the first week of the Herberton Historic Village Woodchopping Carnival, near Cairns.
Rattray arrived in far north Queensland on July 3 and will return on July 19, with more events to take place this week.
Talking to The Examiner last week, the veteran chopper said he was enjoying the challenge and the heat.
"It's awesome weather, especially after a good day, because you get a nice cold beer," he said.
"Due to prior weather up here, the association was unable to get the normal wood, being candlenut, and instead had to get Caribbean pine that is extremely hard to chop."
Rattray has been joined at the competition by his fiancée, Tiana Bawden, and he has also had the opportunity to team with his lifelong friend, 83-year-old chopper Marty Conole.
"I'm loving the winning feeling. Getting to team up with Marty was one of the greatest moments in my North Queensland chopping experience - as was winning the double-handed sawing championship with my father, Leslie."
Rattray already has his sights on more victories back on home soil.
"[My goal is to] try and win all the sawing championships with my father and trying my best with Tiana, off the back mark in the double-handed sawing."
Rattray will also compete in chops at the Mareeba Rodeo, Malada Pub and Cairns Show.
The St Helens resident's successful trip north comes after another thrilling showdown at the Pyengana Chops for Charity event in April - an event that he said he had been preparing for full-time, alongside good friend Jason Helsson.
