BURNIE stormed home over Lauderdale kicking eight goals to one in the final quarter to record a good come-from-behind win in their game at Lauderdale Oval.
In a tight contest for three quarters, only five points separated the two teams at three-quarter time but the Dockers put the foot down in the last quarter to run out winners 14.11 (95) to 8.10 (58).
Chris McDonald kicked three goals for Burnie with two each to Andy Lee, Romain Grenville and Kyle Harman.
Dylan Smith continued his good form to be one of the Dockers' best players along with Harry Walters, Rudy Barrett and Nick McKenna.
The win consolidated Burnie's position in second on the ladder with Glenorchy and Clarence to finish the round with their game at KGV on Sunday.
