Storm coach Mitch Hills will want his side to continue the momentum from last week's victory over Devonport, which opened their account for the season.
"Last week was really good for our club and more so for our playing group to get some reward for a fair bit of effort after a tough month," Hills said.
"This week has been a lot more enjoyable and we are motivated to keep it going and take a lot out of what we did last week into this week."
The Storm will aim to gain revenge over Hobart City for their 20-point defeat at the same venue in round 5.
"If we can get 22 guys contributing like they did on the weekend and put up the same outstanding work rate and effort, we will have a good chance," he said.
Hills said the feeling and morale in the Storm playing group had remained good all through the first half of the year despite their win-less record, but there had been a noticeably different feel or vibe before the Devonport game.
"The boys are excited to know that if they do put in that effort they have been asking for, they will get the results and it will be a bit more enjoyable for them."
Hobart City sits in sixth place on the ladder with a 5-6 record and are just behind Devonport on percentage.
Another win at home over the Storm will boost their top-five hopes but Western Storm will be equally as committed to winning consecutive games after their horror start to the season.
The Demons have won four out of five games at North Hobart so far this season, over the Storm, Tigers, Clarence and a one-point victory over North Launceston in round 8.
