A man and a woman from Launceston have been charged following a number of alleged burglaries in the North-West Coast area over the past week.

Police allege that the burglaries occurred at a number of businesses and private residences, as well as the theft of motor vehicles, in the Ulverstone, Devonport and Railton areas.
A 22-year-old Launceston woman is due to appear in an after-hours sitting of the Devonport Magistrates Court tonight charged with 10 counts of burglary, 13 counts of stealing, five counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of motor vehicle stealing.
The 23-year-old Launceston man was charged with one count of aggravated burglary and one could of motor vehicle stealing relating to an alleged incident in Hobart on June 27.
Police say that investigations are continuing into a number of other alleged matters in other areas of the state, possibly involving a number of people.
