In an ugly match against the Bandits, the Tornadoes kept their focus throughout the game to come away with an 18-point win in round 10 of the SEABL in Launceston.
With a final score of 85-67, Tornadoes head coach Reece Potter said his whole team had an impressive match, especially Sami Phillips, who took to the court for less than 10 minutes but influenced the outcome of the match.
"It was a bit of an ugly game but I thought our group did well to stay focused against some pressured defence," Potter said.
"[The Bandits] are a good team but they play a bit of an ugly style and I think our girls did well to get a win from that.
"We had multiple contributors, which was really good. I think everyone that came in contributed at some stage."
Alex Wilson scored an impressive 30 points for the Tornadoes alongside other top goal scorers Mikaela Ruef and Lauren Mansfield.
Trying not to focus on the team's winning streak, Potter said he was very happy with how the Tornadoes had performed over the past few weeks.
"We have this ongoing thing that we don't want this winning streak to be the highlight of our season but we keep adding a game on each week," he said.
"We are still a long way from the play-offs."
