The council will decide whether to improve a project outlay, which would deliver additions to the existing recreation facility on Burghley Street.

The sports centre master plan, included in the council agenda, outlines potential for a $300,000 therapy pool, $255,000 additions and redevelopment to the facility's entrance and $240,000 for gym additions.

A report on the plan, prepared by economic and community development manager Lorraine Green, suggests the council commits 50 per cent of the funds to each stage of the plan, provided it can source equal contributions from external sources.

The council will vote on whether to approve its budget for 2015-16.

The budget includes a $11 million capital works program, which lists $3.2 million for roads, $1.2 million for building improvements and $1.2 million for fleet replacement.

A $581,500 allocation for footpaths is also listed under works.

A decision whether to allocate an additional $30,000 to the repair of Campbell Town's old pump house, on Franklin Street, will also be tabled.

The council set aside $30,000 in its 2014-15 budget to repair the building, positioned in a heritage area but not heritage listed itself, at the request of the Campbell Town Local District Committee.

Agenda report author, Works and Infrastructure manager Wayne Chellis, has recommended the council either allocate a further $30,000 to the project, or take no further action.

The meeting will take place at the council's William Street chambers from 5pm on Monday.
