The organisation will hold its final community forums for its Strategic Plan 2015-25 today.
Since Sunday, the council has travelled the municipality seeking the community's ideas for projects and aspirations for the next decade.
Council is in the initial stages of reviewing the plan.
Mayor Bridget Archer said council would also visit George Town's three schools for the students' contributions.
She said council wanted to guarantee it heard from a broad cross-section.
"It's a new council and we recognise that the community is made up of lots of demographics and we were not necessarily capturing the younger demographics," Cr Archer said.
"We have a consultant involved to help us this time as well.
"We want to gain people's longer-term visions and aspirations for the municipality and identify any challenges that need to be overcome."
Twenty businesses and healthcare providers are scheduled to meet with the council today.
