For most visitors, the crocodiles are the most memorable thing about Windjana Gorge. Walking along the soft sand track, limestone walls towering above, it is impossible to ignore the dozens of freshwater crocs dozing on the sand bank or cooling off in the pale green water, eyes just above the waterline.
