The company has planned a series of events to celebrate the achievement, with one of the headline events involving the 177-year-old Campbell Town Show.
Roberts' general manager Allan Barr said that the company had played a major role in the history of Tasmania and in the fortunes and lives of its clients.
"It's fair to say that without the support of our clients, there's no way Roberts Limited would be boasting a 150th Anniversary," he said.
"That's why it's important that we partner with community events such as the Campbell Town Show, to give back and add value to those clients and communities that support our own business.
Mr Barr said that, as in most areas of life, it was the people who created the worth, the success and the vitality of a business and an industry.
Roberts will host a breakfast session at the show on Friday, May 29, with guest speakers speaking on various aspects related to enterprise development.
Speakers range from industry specialists, to successful farmers in their own right, and will be sharing
Mr Barr said that no business remained the same — something that was particularly prevalent in the Tasmanian Midlands.
"The change in the dynamics of the wool industry and the availability of water has opened up many opportunities for farmers that their forebears would never have dreamed of," he said.
"It's exciting times for Tassie, it really is," Mr Barr said.
"Thanks to the Campbell Town Show, Roberts hopes to be able to share some of its enthusiasm for the future of the agricultural industry and, in turn, the prosperity of Tasmania's regional communities."
